Curious title
As some of you may know two weeks ago my sister got married to a Jamacian fellow, i officaly have some nig nog in my family. That got me thinking about inter-racial relationships, although its very much accepted these days are there still traces of racism left in our subconcious?
I'm thinking of a deeper level than normal racism, about how attractive the opposite gender appears to you when they're a different race. Personally I think that asian and spanish girls can be very attractive but on the same vein i reckon that super africans and indian girls arn't that flash at all. Is it purely physical or is there something more to it all?
I'm not at all saying that we're all still on a level of racism that we can't find certain races attractive, but its just a thought. What do you think about it all? Could it be a possiblity or do i have too much free time at work? And out of curiousity, what other races do you like/not like? And yes, i wish we had some girls on here to comment

I read in an unreliable afternoon newspaper that females prefer dark skinned guys and guys prefer light skinned girls. The perception of the skin colour is based on a "good vs bad" ambivalence.
Ie, white skin represents purity whereas dark skin represents a wickedness. So guys are after a pure women, while girls want guys that are "bad".
Makes sense to me. Of course that's from a newspaper and not personal opinion as well as a generalisation so there's no need to say "It's wrong because my second cousin's friend's mother-in-law's etc etc"
Of course there's also guys that like a bit of chocolate booty

Hmm I always assumed that a guy would go for a tanned girl over a paley. Tan = Hot / Pale = Weird.

i rather enjoy a good quality super-african import, but i'm also a big fan of the scandinavian skins.
pale, isn't necessarily weird. russian ballet types (rather than russian paramilitary/terrorist/murderer types) have lovely white skin (rather than lovely worn-out dirty skin). |

hmmm white skin for me is ok i guess but that tells you a bit about their lifestyle and not all the time but alot of the time it means there not outdoors too much and i kinda like being outdoors and active its why im not white.
so bit tanned is better i spose cz i prefer active outside people. meh thats just me though i know people who love like really white skinned people . |

I think it might just be as simple as that, I don't know much about the African lifestyle (go figure) and don't have much to base the person on, therefore don't find them attractive because i have nothing to base the attraction on besides the very bare physical appearance? I think its impossible - very very hard to be attracted to someone based completely on their appearance personally, the attraction is in the story of the persons personality which lies in the outward appearance. Ahh too complicated to bother
