well i have been looking really hard for an answer or a sign i have been coming to youth whenever im aloud and trying to listen in on the convos going round and praying really hard for something/anything to happen and its just anoying me on youth camp a few people got dropped which is really cool a few people cried and so did i but what i found out later they were happy mine were sad:(and i thought about it a while ago i have never felt anything out of the ordinary everything feels sorta the same hugging a tre eor hugging a person its the same if i come on saturday i get about the same spiritual level as on thursday and i want it soo bad everyone else has had a sign or a feeling or tounges or something .
And as a few of you know ive got some stuff going on and its making me look harder but then the dissapointment hits harder and i just yeh ive tryed real hard and talked to a few people to try and get some of it off my chest so i can focus more but i havent felt anything and i want to and i just want it.
so if any of you guys have any suggestion could you please post it here. |

Well mate. All I can really say, is not to give up.
You see, God works on His own schedule. And you could imagine how busy it would be. He will do things in His own time.. We have to play our part, and continue to just serve and honour His name. God wants us to persevere. If He sees we can't hold up, and can't continue to pray and wait for Him to do something amazing in our lives, then what's the use of doing it if we will just slip back into our own selfish ways. He wants to know you are ready. By showing Him that you are, we should be constantly spending time with Him. Reading the bible, listening to worship, sermons etc... The more we learn about God and the more we pray, the more we will get to know Him daily, the stronger your relationship with Him will become.
A verse in the Bible clearly states that we must be ready to enter this relationship, which means we need to follow Jesus and live like a Christian.

So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that's coming when Jesus arrives. Don't lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn't know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God's life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, "I am holy; you be holy."
So yeah...Just stick in there buddy, you never know when something incredible will happen. Give God your all.
It would suck if you got too disappointed and stopped the day before God was going to do something.

I am a pastor's son, I've been raised in a church and even though its been a bit on and off I've been a Christian for most of my life. Ever since last September its been no turning back for me... but even through all of the places I've been and everything I've seen I've never spoke in tongues or been slain in the spirit. I know disappointment.
I've been bored of life, everything starting to feel the same and it felt like no matter what i did i didnt care what happened to me. I kinda know what you meant.
All I can say is never stop looking. If you feel like you've hit the ground again and you don't want to get up, then talk to someone about it. I want to talk to you, i want to know whats going on inside Robbies head. You're not alone man

Something I learnt a few Sunday's ago...
Don't ever wait for a sign and expect it to happen.
You have to take the first step, that means trusting God that something will happen, putting your hand up for God instead of waiting for him to reveal himself to you (He could save anyone by doing that, He wants you to want to be saved).
And from what I hear, you are, good job mate .
